Hydra-Tide Moisturizer was designed for sensitive skin to repair the skin barrier.

With great skin loving ingredients such as Squalane, Glycerin, Aloe leaf juice, Snow mushroom, peptides, a ceramide complex with 3 different ceramides, vitamin E and cholesterol and a long lasting moisturizer. Read on to learn more about the ingredients in this product.

Snow Mushroom: to attract and retain moisture in the skin holding more water than hyaluronic acid to help plump and smooth the complexion, anti-aging, anti-inflammatory and soothing beneficial for eczema and rosacea, antioxidants to protect against free radicals which contribute to premature aging and other skin issues. It can also improve the skin barrier protecting from environmental stressors and pollutants, it can brighten by assist in fading dark spots and promote a more even skin tone, and assist in wound healing and skin repair.

Squalane- excellent moisturizer to help soften and smooth the skin. Squalane combats & reverses the affects of TEWL or transepidermal water loss which is water evaporation from the skin’s surface and can lead to dry dehydrated skin.

Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice- soothing, moisturizing, anti-inflammatory, and helps with wound healing

Matrixyl® 3000: Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, Palmitoyl Trapeptide-7 are used in conjunction with each other to reduce wrinkles to give the skin a younger look. It does this by use cell signaling to increase collagen. Tests show that after using Matrixyl® 3000 twice a day for 2 months consistently resulted in:

Tocopherol (Vitamin E)- Vitamin E is an antioxidant and has minor skin protection from UVB rays however sunscreen is still recommended for protection against UV rays. 

Cholesterol- naturally found in our skin along with ceramides keeps a happy, healthy skin barrier with well hydrated and moisturized skin. In addition cholesterol produces a soft and smooth epidermis or surface of the skin. 

Glycerin- a great moisturizer that is also naturally found in the surface layer of our skin.

Apricot oil- A lot of people are afraid of adding oils to their skin however this oil is low comedogenic with no reports as of yet causing acne. This oil is a nourishing fatty acid that helps soften the skin. Rich in antioxidants vitamins A and E it helps moisturize, tone, soothe and has anti-inflammatory properties to prevent acne.
